Shri Ganapati Shri Murugan Mandir is the only temple of its kind in Goa where Lord Ganesha and Lord Murugan share a single Garbha Griha.
The complex is also home to Shankar-Parvati, Navagraha, and Lord Hanuman.
Goa’s patron deity, and the remover of obstacles — worshiped each Vinayaki and Sankashti Chaturthi.

“Amma’s life was one of quiet, tireless devotion. For over five decades, she walked on foot across every corner of Salcete, carrying herbal medicines and sacred vibhuti to anyone who called on her — irrespective of caste, creed, or religion.
People came to know her simply as “Amma in the white saree.”
In 1971, she fulfilled a lifelong vow to her Ishtadevata, Lord Murugan, and consecrated this temple — uniquely pairing Him with Lord Ganesha in a single sanctum.

Free meals for around 2,000 people, every Tuesday — no questions asked about caste, creed, or religion. This is the heart of the temple’s seva.

Lord Ganesha, Lord Murugan and Devi Annapoorneshwari — carried in a Palkhi, right to your home. The temple priest performs the rituals, and the Palkhi stays with your family overnight.
